Still Life II Mural

Still Life II cuerda seca Talavera mural — a vibrant still life depicting an array of fresh vegetables and decorative macetas (planters), crafted using the traditional cuerda seca technique for raised relief and rich surface texture. This decorative mural measures 12" x 16" and consists of twelve 4" tiles arranged in a 3-by-4 configuration.

The cuerda seca technique creates distinct raised ridges between each color section, giving the vegetables, planters, and surrounding details a three-dimensional, sculptural quality with depth and tactile interest that flat-painted designs cannot achieve. Each tile is individually handcrafted by skilled artisans in Mexico.
