The Tradicional line is our collection of classic Talavera tile patterns with authentic hand-cut, rustic character. These are the timeless designs that have graced Mexican homes, churches, and public buildings for generations — symmetrical florals, interlocking geometrics, and the iconic cobalt-on-white compositions recognized worldwide as symbols of Mexican ceramic artistry.

What gives the Tradicional line its distinctive personality is the artisanal process: each tile blank is hand cut rather than machine formed, producing the organic irregularity and old-world character prized in authentic Mexican installations. The hand-painted patterns and glazes are then applied with the same skill and tradition that has defined the craft for centuries. The result is a tile that feels genuinely historic — with the slight dimensional variation and natural imperfection that collectors and designers seek.

Available in multiple sizes from 2-inch accent tiles to 6-inch field format, the Tradicional line is our most versatile collection. These patterns work in every setting — from a few accent tiles adding character to a simple backsplash, to full-wall installations creating the unmistakable atmosphere of a Mexican colonial interior. The line includes coordinating solid-color field tiles for complete, cohesive installations.
