Tecate Pavers & Tiles

Our Tecate tile and paver collection features handmade clay tiles sourced directly from artisans in the Tecate region of Baja California, Mexico — renowned for producing some of the densest, most durable handmade clay tile available. Tecate tile’s tight clay body and high firing temperature give it superior strength and moisture resistance compared to softer-bodied clays.

The collection includes our popular Riviera Tecate in classic rectangular format, hexagonal tiles for distinctive geometric floors, and specialty shapes. Each tile displays the warm, natural earth tones and subtle color variation that characterize genuine handmade Mexican clay — ranging from pale sandy gold to deep terracotta and charcoal.

Tecate pavers are an excellent choice for high-traffic areas, outdoor installations, and pool surrounds where durability is paramount. Their dense clay body absorbs less moisture than traditional Saltillo, making them particularly well-suited for wet environments and freeze-thaw climates.
