Rosario IX hand painted cuerda seca tile — the latest addition to our Rosario series within the San Luis Obispo (SLO) collection, bringing yet another unique colorway and subtle design variation to this beloved pattern family. The cuerda seca technique creates raised ridges between each color field, delivering the tactile, three-dimensional surface that makes Malibu style tiles so distinctive.
Each tile is individually hand crafted using the traditional cuerda seca method, where molten wax separates glaze colors before firing. Collect multiple Rosario colorways — Azul, Amarillo, VII, and IX — to create a patchwork installation with coordinated patterns in different palettes, or feature the Rosario IX on its own for a focused, cohesive design. Perfect for kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls, and decorative accent features.
Available in 2", 4.25", and 6" sizes. Every tile is handmade and unique. All handmade Mexican products are rustic in nature and subject to variation in shape, size, and color.
