La Quinta Olivo hand painted cuerda seca tile — an earthy, olive-toned design from our San Luis Obispo (SLO) collection that brings organic warmth and understated elegance to any installation. The cuerda seca technique creates raised ridges between each glaze color, producing the tactile, three-dimensional texture that defines authentic Malibu style tilework.
Each tile is individually hand crafted using the traditional cuerda seca method, where molten wax separates glaze colors before firing. The La Quinta Olivo's muted, natural palette makes it one of the most versatile designs in the SLO collection — equally at home in rustic hacienda kitchens, contemporary Mediterranean bathrooms, and Southwestern outdoor living spaces. Pairs beautifully with other La Quinta colorways and our SLO Field Tiles.
