Cenefa Napa hand painted cuerda seca tile — a refined border and trim design from our San Luis Obispo (SLO) collection, perfect for framing larger decorative tiles or creating elegant linear accents throughout your space. Named for Napa Valley's wine country elegance, Cenefa Napa brings sophistication and structure to any installation. Part of our SLO collection, this tile features the distinctive raised ridges and three-dimensional texture created by the traditional cuerda seca glazing method.
Each tile is individually hand crafted using the cuerda seca technique, where molten wax separates glaze colors before firing. The result is a tactile surface with an interplay of matte and glossy finishes that defines authentic Malibu style tilework. Use Cenefa Napa as a border to frame backsplash patterns, as a stair riser accent, or as a linear element in fireplace surrounds and bathroom niches.
Available in 2", 4.25", and 6" sizes. Every tile is handmade and unique. All handmade Mexican products are rustic in nature and subject to variation in shape, size, and color.
