Amapola Subway Tile

Amapola hand glazed terracotta subway tile — a vibrant, art-inspired colorway from our Hervido collection. Named for the poppy flower, the Amapola glaze features a white base alive with bold splashes of red, orange, yellow, and black — an effect reminiscent of fields of wildflowers or an abstract expressionist painting.

Each 8" × 3" subway tile is crafted using our signature Hervido technique, where molten glaze is hand-applied to raw terracotta. The spontaneous way the colored glazes land and flow on each tile makes Amapola one of our most dynamic and artistic Hervido colors. No two tiles are remotely alike — each is its own small work of art, and the assembled installation creates a dazzling, gallery-worthy surface.

An ideal choice for kitchen backsplashes, powder rooms, accent walls, and creative spaces where personality and color are celebrated. The lively palette of the Amapola brings warmth and joy to modern, bohemian, and eclectic interiors. Every tile is handmade and unique. All handmade Mexican products are rustic in nature and subject to variation in shape, size, and color.
