The Octagon Saltillo pattern consists of pairing an octagon tile with a smaller square tile to create a unique look. One way to liven this design is to replace the square Saltillo tile with a Talavera tile. Our client went with a traditional oil finish on their Saltillo and replaced some of the squares with a selection of tiles from our San Luis Obispo collection. In addition the client decided to use the San Luis Obispo collection to create a decorative trim around their fireplace mantle.
