The Dijon Pattern

A recent client decided to use the Dijon pattern in Saltillo for the flooring in their house.  The pattern consists of pairing a square saltillo tile with four pickets to create a very stylish and unique look.  The client also chose to use an oil finish to complete the look.  The oil finish is a traditional style that uses a blend of boiled linseed oil and paint thinner to create a unique look that brings out the best colors in the Saltillo tile.  These tiles were then finished with a acrylic wax based finish called Plaza to complete the look and give the tiles their shine.
